MOSCOW, May 6 (PRIME) -- Russia’s central bank was the leading global buyer of gold in January–March with 55.3 tonnes of gold, the World Gold Council said in a report on May 3.
In total, all countries bought 145.5 tonnes of gold in the period, up 68% on the year.
In 2018, Russia bought 274.3 tonnes of gold.
